Compassionate Transitional Housing
Survivors of domestic violence who confront the risk of homelessness experience challenges in their journey toward recovery and stability.
Our facilities provide a supportive environment, offering temporary shelter from 6 to 24 months, counseling, legal assistance, and skill-building programs. Transitional housing focuses on empowering survivors and helping them regain independence. Supportive services address the trauma of domestic violence and equip individuals with the tools needed for self-sufficiency. Collaboration with community organizations enhances the effectiveness of these programs, fostering a holistic approach to rebuilding lives after experiencing domestic violence, sex trafficking, and homelessness.
Our Programs
We offer a range of essential services aimed at providing a safe haven for adults and children, such as:
Therapeutic Garden: A space where survivors can engage in horticultural therapy.
Community Garden: Where survivors and community members can work together, fostering a sense of connections. Gardening has been shown to have positive effects on mental well-being.
Our Approach
Our approach centers on a comprehensive and compassionate framework. We prioritize immediate safety through secure housing followed by personalized counseling and group counseling to address trauma. Financial empowerment programs aim to reduce dependence, while legal support ensures justice and protection. Life skills training and vocational guidance empower survivors for independent living. Collaborating with our partners and community resources enhances our outreach. Continuous evaluation and adaptability ensure our approach remains responsive to evolving needs, striving for long-term healing and stability for domestic violence survivors facing homelessness.
